Carnegie Mellon Students for Barack Obama is an official chapter of Students for Barack Obama, the student wing of the Obama for America campaign. We're part of the national organization of high school, college, graduate and law students with hundreds of chapters across the country united by a common mission - to change American politics by helping to elect Barack Obama President of the United States. At CMU we're organizing students to register voters, get out the vote, raise funds, and spread Senator Obama's message of hope, action, and change.
Get involved:
Register to vote on campus! You have the right to vote where you live – on your campus. Young people can determine the outcome of this election, but you must register with your campus address before October 6 to vote on Election Day (November 4).
If you'd like to register, just find your floor captain, your dorm captain, or one of the people tabling outside Doherty Hall.
Volunteer to register other students and get out at the vote by emailing us and/or joining this group!
