As a Virginia Tech Student, I suffered firsthand the tragedy on April 16. I lost several friends and experienced the pain and suffering that comes with such an event. I was added as an Admin to help police the group, and I would like for people to understand that the views portrayed in the media are not the same as those held by the Virginia Tech Community. I would ask that you use respect and judgement when creating Boards and writing Posts. We are all hurting, and the hurt will not be healed by insensitive remarks. Thank You.

This is confirmed on Virginia Tech's web page (www.vt.edu).

I went on campus the other day with my parents to see the memorials and reflect. My mom grabbed my arm and started crying, and she wouldn't let go of me the entire time we were on campus. PLEASE tell your parents, brothers, sisters, family members, and friends that you love them. You mean so much to them. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR COMFORT, PRAYERS, AND SUPPORT!
