- News:
- 7th December is a momentous day for the Oak Island Tourism Society: http://tinyurl.com/y9n49qq
It's up to members to vote for the future of the Society this afternoon. Although it would be sad to see the Tourism Society close, I feel that there is enough interest and public spirit to carry the vision forward.
Whether this will be a local historical society, or a group of Oak Island enthusiasts, I firmly believe that Oak Island has the potential to attract many visitors to the area, so lets view this as the start of a new chapter, rather than the end. I am confident that tourism will have a place to play in Oak Island's future.

NEWS JUST IN
So the news just in is that the Oak Island Tourism Society has officially closed. This has created some very mixed responses. What happens next? I don't think this needs to mean the end, rather the start of a new chapter. I know for certain that interest in Oak Island is high (I have over 2000 fans worldwide on my books) so there is no need to let this die. What are your thoughts?
