OK, here's how this will work: the purpose of this group is to host a party to celebrate Spiral Beach's return to the UK.

At home in Toronto we put on shows in unconventional, sometimes bizarre locations where we can use the space to create the perfect atmosphere to suit the music. Over the last few months a completely new music community has built up around the shows (check out some of our myspace friends if you want to hear some of the other bands involved) and we want the UK to feel the same kind of excitement - but we need your help!

If you've joined this group we'd love to talk to you about setting up this event with us - if you have any connections to art galleries, community centres, theatres, or anywhere we could host a party, let us know and we'll start getting ideas together. Alternatively, we could hold the party at someone's house, just as long as there's a large enough space and we won't get noise complaints from neighbours.

As for WHEN this will happen. . . we'll do the party when we come over for another round of "ordinary" shows, most likely in the fall or winter. That way we've got plenty of time to find the ideal space and work out the details way in advance.

UNTIL THEN we'll keep you updated with all the goings-on and happenings related to the band - we'll have new videos and comics up every week and would love to hear what you think!
