The Student Voice is a student-run weekly magazine at Syracuse University. The publication is released 8 times per semester, with at least one special themed issue per semester. The magazine offers students of varying abilities a chance to gain experience in writing, copy-editing, photography, illustration, advertising, and graphic design.

In more casual terms, we're a laid back, here-to-inform / here-to-entertain-you type of weekly publication. We'll put nice in-depth pieces about issues of social identity right next to our opinions on the latest Mandy Moore flick or a double dosage of Sudoku. We've recently taken home some hardware for our efforts (most notably, a SPJ Award for Publication Excellence - it's a big deal, they're a national organization).
