Things have been moving along at a steady pace - numbers are starting to stabilize and we definitely gained a few amazing new rookies this season!!!

London Tournament - details
Hot off the press - London tourney details are as follows
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2009
Location: Carling Heights Optimists Pool - London, ON
Game Play ~9am-6pm
Banquet ~7pm-???
Cost: Depends on a few factors but probably under $50 (including transportation, hotel, registration/banquet). If money is tight and you can't afford it, come talk to me and I'll work something out for you :)
Banquet is costumes (as always) and we'd better do it up right since it's actually Halloween this year!!! We will be coming home at some point in time on Sunday, November 1... once we are all alive and relatively functioning :)
Let us know if you want to go!!!

UofI fall tourney not happening this year *tear*

Reffing clinic will be happening either the first or second weekend of November (more details to follow)

Club Days and the first practice was RIDICULOUS (in a good way of course)!!! Tons of people coming out, lots of interest - it's going to be an amazing year.

Due to our current high numbers if anyone has any gear of any sort that could be used please bring it out (we ran out of masks on Monday night with 45 people out total).

Game play all day followed by a wonderful banquet and festivities! A great tournament for beginners and experienced players alike.

What can be said, it's always an awesome time in the US for tournaments!

Yet another awesome tournament. Slightly higher level of play but still tons of fun!

I hope that you all had an awesome summer and are ready to hit the water swimming, lol. We have a whole bunch of things going on this semester and hopefully all of you will be able to make it back to the pool to enjoy everything!

First of all Cheryl and I are going to be your co-prez's for the season this year and she will be running the show next year. Feel free to come talk to either of us with any comments or suggestions to make the year great.

CSA Club Days is fast approaching. This is our biggest recruiting event for the year so if you would be able to come out and help with the display at any point in time during the day on Thursday or Friday that would be great - or even just come by to say hi :)

Our first practice of the season will be Monday, September 21 from 10-11pm in the Gold pool as always. We will be running every Monday (in Gold pool) and Thursday (in Red pool) afterwards.

We also have a new e-mail address - please send any e-mails there please and thank you as the hotmail account is being phased out.

Don't forget about all the awesome tournaments coming up (with a few new ones added to this list this year) and the potential for a few other events - stay tuned!
