- This Saturday (from 9am-2pm), we will be holding our first event at the community center -- Space12. The event is called Ex:Change and its a big garage sale of our excess stuff for the East Austin community. All of the proceeds from Ex:Change will be donated to the local schools in the community.
We are looking for more items for us to sell at the garage sale. So this is a GREAT time for you to do some spring cleaning and collect some things you might not need anymore.
[What are we looking for?]
Slightly used furniture, household items, and clothing. Examples of furniture would be couches, coffee table, bookshelves, and bookcases. We can’t accept mattresses, sorry. An example of clothing would be shirts, pants, or jackets. No socks or undergarments. Examples of household items would be dinnerware, lamps, etc. Additionally, please make sure all furniture, househould items, and clothes are undamaged and in good condition.
[How can you get us your stuff?]
You can drop the stuff at Space12 (3121 E. 12th Street) at anytime from now until Friday. If you want to give a heads-up before coming, you can email matt at matt@voxveniae.com.
So please look around your house/condo for any of your excess stuff and bring it to Space12!
