- The first East West Challenge was a success with NCAA Division I showcase games in San Diego and Pasadena. The next East West Challenge is in 2010 with teams playing at locations and venues TBA.
Past Event Information:
UC Berkeley, Notre Dame, Oregon and Temple participated in 2008 East West Challenge. Organizer Paul Ramsey and the L.A. Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse put the event on to showcase one of the highest levels of play for women's lacrosse to the lacrosse community in Southern California. The San Diego games were played at Torrey Pines High School and the Pasadena games were played in the Rose Bowl Stadium. UCLA and USC also played their USL WDIA game in the Rose Bowl.
This event is no longer being sponsored by Brine but we can't change the name of the event here on Facebook. Private benefactors have picked up the slack.
