AQUA: Allies and Queer Undergraduate Association!
Description:
First things first, we don’t have membership cards! This group is for the regulars AND for people who have never set foot into 303. We welcome anyone and everyone, plus new faces always make the ice breakers less annoying!
That said, AQUA is a social organization focusing on bringing together the members of the queer community and their allies for fun activities of various sorts, be it an arts or crafts night or a scavenger hunt throughout the UConn campus. Highlights of the year include the annual Drag Dance and the infamous purity test taken at the beginning and close of each year.
I hope this is group will be helpful in keeping you updated on the happenings of AQUA throughout the semester. Our meeting time is Tuesdays at 9:00 in the Student Union, rm. 303.
