- Description:
- Fallopian Falafel – אשת חיל is a non-profit, Jerusalem-based feminist zine established in May, 2007.
It deals with feminism in Israel, in all its forms of expression (third-wave, riot grrrl, religious movements, etc.), and it aims to spread awareness about the ongoing need for feminism to the Israeli public.
It is worth noting that despite its secular leftist nature, the zine is neither anti-religious nor anti-Zionist.

Please, I've advertised this before only to be massacred by pro-life bullshit. Although some of it might make an appearance in the zine for freedom of expression and nuance purposes, FALLOPIAN FALAFEL IS A FEMINIST ZINE. Read: PRO CHOICE!
SO! If you have any pro-choice prose on paper or on your screen, do send it my way. It will be greatly appreciated.
Or if you wanna create something original, write something about Dr. Tiller or about other orgs that fight for abortion rights. Contact me at fallopian.falafel@gmail.com to pitch your story - Deadline July 10.
Thank you!
