In 2007, Pan-Asian Queers (PAQ) was established to replace Mahu and continue its legacy in serving the growing population of API-LGBT students and their special needs as a community of double-minority status.
PAQ’s mission objective is to provide venues for thoughtful discussion, inclusiveness, and community outreach as well as to create comfortable, safe spaces for support, empowerment, and celebrating diversity within the queer API community.
PAQ welcomes all UCLA Bruins of all races and ethnicities, gender-performance, and sexual orientation. We are a progressive-minded organization that celebrates diversity across all boundaries. So whether you're queer or straight, transgender or cisgender, Asian or not, we invite you to join us for weekly meetings, social gatherings, or just to hang out in our office located in Kerckhoff 136.
Meetings for the Winter 2009 academic quarter are held every WEDNESDAY at 5:00 pm in the LGBT Center.
