The University of Maryland Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) exists as a supportive network for students who may feel marginalized in their graduate program. The BGSA promotes recruitment, retention, and degree completion of Black graduate students, thereby working towards the University’s goal of increasing diversity on campus.
