We're getting together at the J-Clyde once again, on the Cobb Lane side. We might not be at the big table, but look for us on that side.
Our conversation will be a Peter Rollins primer. Pete, an author, philosopher, speaker, and articulate contributor to the emergent conversation, will be stopping in town on his "Lessons in Evandalism" tour through North America. In the words of Ron Burgundy, he's "kind of a big deal." This is going to be a lot of fun. And he will blow your mind.
Check out Pete's two books, How (Not) to Speak of God, and The Fidelity of Betrayal (Paraclete Press). He blogs at peterrollins.net/blog and has heaps of youtube vids and a few emergent podcasts. Check his stuff out for sure.
His visit will be February 18th-19th and he'll be speaking at Samford U on the 19th at Convocation (10 am) and will be hanging out for conversation later that afternoon (TBA).
