According to the Canadian Cancer Society, cancer is the number one health concern of Canadians and two in five Canadians will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime.
~ An estimated 166,400 new cases of cancer and 73,800 deaths from cancer will occur in Canada in 2008.
~ Three types of cancer account for the majority of new cases in each sex: prostate, lung and colorectal in males and breast, lung and colorectal in females.
~ Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer death for both men and women.

Bloomex has launched a new "Give Hope Collection" where 10% of the sales of the special arrangements will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society for cancer research. As well, each month one of these special arrangements will be featured where 15% of the sales will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.
