By combining the rejuvenating aspects of a day spa with the revitalizing benefits of the sun's energy, ra sunspa is a mini oasis where urban trekkers can retreat for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Owned by Jay & Effie Karadjian and designed by II by IV Design Associates, the vibe of ra sunspa is more like "ultra-luxe leisure lounge" and less "ladies who lunch" spa facility.

As you enter the spa, the sights, sounds, and scents instantly awaken your senses. The fresh scent might be one of many lotions or room mists that they use. The sounds of tranquil soulful and Latin house fill the air from a DJ booth situated just around the corner, and throughout the spa you will find paintings by local artists.

Revitalizing deep tissue massage by a registered massage therapist; impeccable manicures and pedicures with Essie nail polish; rejuvenating collagen and elastin facials using German line Clayton Shagal ; threading and waxing, which although not totally painless, will make you forget the pain as soon as you see the results; all performed by a friendly staff of professionally trained technicians.

At ra sunspa we try to educate our clients about the positive effects of the sun's energy, which helps fight the effects of Seasonal Affective Disorder- a depressive state associated with the lack of sunlight, in the winter months. Many of our clients come in once a week for a session in 1 of our 4 beds ranging from medium intensity to high intensity, just for some much needed energy to last them through the long winter. For those that do not suffer from S.A.D coming in once a week for a session is a great way to get a weeks worth of Vitamin D. Vitamin D is responsible for helping your bones absorb calcium to keep them strong and healthy.
