There are 30,000 women’s voluntary and community organisations in England and Wales working and campaigning on issues which others are reluctant to address such as rape and rape convictions, childhood sexual abuse and incest, abortion, self-harming, women offenders, domestic violence, BME women, the sexual health and rights of women and sex workers.

They take on the hardest cases, for example honour killings and women who kill their violent partners.

Women’s organisations are critical to a fair, just, prosperous and inclusive society, empowering and transforming the lives of some of the most marginalised and vulnerable women and their children in the UK.

But many of these organisations are in danger of being closed down. Our lobbying needs your support so,
