Description:: We are declaring the month of October "Scottie Book Month," and throughout the month, alumnae are opening their homes for conversation, refreshments and a lively book discussion facilitated by a special DVD presentation by Chris De Pree, Ph.D., professor of astronomy.

For the first time ever, we are inviting alumnae all over the country to share in the experience of the first-year students' common reading.

This year's book selection is Einstein's Dreams by Alan Lightman.

If you are unable to attend a book discussion, we hope you will still read the book and participate in our virtual discussion. (read less)
