- Silent Auction Dinner Meeting!

We will have snacks provided so we can think well.
Agenda:
Contact our Volunteer pool: have as many present as possible for the meeting
Break into 4 committee's: Auction, Dinner, and Entertainment, and a Labour Commitee
Auction Committee (5 people): Responsible for the handling of all cash, supervises the auction. Ensures, with Daniel, that all items are accounted for and the appropriate labelling and information is out with the items, Sets up auction area, at the end of the night the auction committee will close off the area and gather all the items for pick up. All winners of bids will be checked and multiple winning bids will be collected under the individual. When people come to see if they won a "runner" will go grab all the stuff they won while the cash handlers settle up how much they owe. 2 cashiers and 3 runners for a total of 5 volunteers.
Dinner Committee (10 People): Responsible for the preparation of food, running of food, clean up of food and any dishes. We need good help here. Maria and Tracie will be cooking all the food etc. All we need here is 10 people refilling food at the main tables, making sure there is enough plates, forks, condiments, coffee, juice, etc. Helping clean up the kitchen after dinner as well.
Entertainment Committee (3 people): Responsible for the setup of all audio and visual equipment. Monitoring it throughout the evening. Coordinating when people are supposed to play music or put on a show. Any speeches and presentations are coordinated through these people.
Labor Committee (everyone): Need 1 person to know where people are and what they are supposed to be doing, organizes any other help for setup and decorating etc. Maybe this is me...
After we pick people for committee's we will break into small groups and get information out about details for those committee's.

Youth leadership membership:
We are looking for more people aged 18-35 to get involved in the youth group for fellowship, friendship, leadership, living out and challenging our faith growth together, lending a hand to the youth group and more. Please contact me if you are interested.
Fundraising committee:
We are planning to have another Silent Auction & Dinner this year in November and we are looking for people to help. Last year it was a great success for the parish and we learned a lot of lessons about event management so we are asking for help in certain areas, if we cannot find the help it is likely we won’t hold the event.. If we are going to see the growth and beauty that this church has grown into we hope you will join us in these ventures of community and growth of our young adults and teens.
