- PASO now has a group listing under the groups tab in mySCAD. Please take the time to join this group because I will be using the group to upload documentation for events such as the sound design competition we will be hosting in the Spring Quarter.
Update
David Van Slyke, leading sound designer and owner of the studio Slick Sounds is returning to SCAD. he visited last year and spoke and enjoyed it so much that he has volunteered to come back, and this time he will be teaching a master class as well as giving a general lecture. The master class will be on Thursday May 14 and Friday May 15 at 2 pm, if you attend one day then you must attend the next. David will be working with students in pro tools and teaching them some of his techniques. It's an opportunity that you don't want to miss so mark your calendars now. Pre registration will be required, and will be available when it becomes closer to the actual date. He will also be giving a general lecture on the industry on Friday May 15 at 10 AM.

March 6 - Track Submission Deadline
Just a reminder that March 6 has been established as the deadline to submit music tracks for the promotional Sound Design compilation CD. You can submit your tracks in person on CD at upcoming PASO meetings or give them to a member of the E-Board if you see them. Alternately, you can upload your tracks online and post links to this message board or the Facebook group and we can do a playback during the voting session from that. Just be sure to submit a full-resolution version if your track is to be included in the final product.
Additionally, anyone interested in providing album artwork if they are so inclined, or if they know someone who would be interested, should also submit their materials by the above date.
Title suggestions can be thrown out at any point until the final voting session.
This is subject to change, but this is the most current information available and any changes will be posted.
