“Adelante” in English means “forward” or “progress.” Our mission is to improve the standard of living of the extreme poor in Honduras. To do that, we use a lending model called microfinance pioneered by the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh. In the right hands, the small-business loans we provide become COMMUNITY CAPITAL, with the power to make an immediate and lasting impact not only on individual families, but entire villages.
