الحزب المصري الليبرالي - حزب مصر الأم هو حزب سياسي علماني وحركة ذات جذور تاريخية في مصر. ينطلق الحزب من محاولات سابقة في بدايات القرن العشرين من قـِبَل ناشطين مصريين مناهضين للاستعمار، لإعادة التأكيد على الهوية الإثنية المصرية، ويتأسس ذلك جزئيًا على الاستقلال الوطني وترسيم الاعتراف الرسمي بـاللغة الوطنية المحلية (اللهجة المصرية). وفي الوقت الحاضر، يسعى الحزب أيضًا لتحرير مصر من سيطرة القومية العربية ويدعو إلى فصل الدين عن السياسة ومعظم الشئون المدنية.

Liberal Egyptian Party (formerly Egypt the Mother Party) is a grassroots movement and a secular political party. The party builds on previous attempts by native anti-colonial activists in the early 20th century to re-assert ethnic Egyptian identity, based in part on national independence from the British and the Ottomans, the establishment of a secular and democratic national government, and the formalization of the local Egyptian language. It also seeks to revive the indigenous Egyptian language and to disassociate Egypt from the Arab nationalist policies introduced by Gamal Abdel Nasser. The Liberal Egyptian Party calls for separating religion from politics and most civil affairs.
Platform of the party includes Egyptian Identity and Language, Secularization, and Surpassing religious differences for the sake of national co-existence. (read less)
