The primary mission of the Brown Club of Houston is to develop, promote, and deliver Brown-related events for the benefit of Houston-area alumni, parents and other "friends of Brown."
The secondary mission is to support the student recruiting efforts in cooperation with the BASC volunteers. (BASC/Houston and Brown Club of Houston are separate but coordinated volunteer organizations.)
Fund raising and charitable activities are not priorities of the club at this time.
We plan at least four events each year as a general goal:
1) Winter event with local alumni speaker;
2) Spring event in coordination with BASC;
3) Summer event with visiting professor; and
4) Fall event with prominent alumni speaker.
