We keep rescued guinea pigs at our home and at the homes of our dedicated Guinea Pig fosterers. We are currently responsible for around 30 cavies (here & with our fosterers) and many other animals too.

We have managed to source some poultry crates to help with rescues of ex battery hens in the near future.
Each crate should hold 10-12 hens and we are looking for sponsors of these crates whether from small local businesses or individuals.

Our Paypal address is rosahrescue@aol.com and if you are donating towards hen crates, please say so on the message to us.

If you or your business would like to sponsor a crate for a year, we ask for £20 and for that, we will happily attach a laminated business card or A5 sized flyer to the crate to publicise your business AND add your advert to our sponsors page of our main website which gets loads of hits..

If anyone has a barn or outbuildings to rent in the approximate triangle of Kings Lynn, north of Wisbech and the east of Spalding, please contact us. Even in the villages out towards the Wash, anything considered as we need a base for rescued hens even if just on rescue days as base for rehomers to collect hens from.

Also grazing land is needed in the same area, please contact us if you an help.

We have some baby Giant African Land Snails for rehoming. They're only fingernail sized at present but will grow to the size whereby they will sit on your palm. They grow very fast too.
Ours live in plastic toyboxes with holes in the lid and have compost in the base but if you look on ebay for snail stuff, there are many different substrates that people use in theirs.
Snails eat leaves, salad and pretty much what garden snails will eat. We mist ours daily with a plant mister to keep them moist & they need humidity so if in a cold house, will need a heat mat too. They also need a cuttlefish bone to maintain a healthy shell.

We are happy to rehome these free of charge although any donations are always welcome (even if in fruit and veg, lol) Rehomers must be over 16 years old and responsible enough so that if for ANY reason you cannot keep them at any point in their lives, you MUST return them to us.
