WitchFest 2010 .... 17th - 24th JULY 2010 ..
Following great success of the last 3 biennual events... planning is already well under way for this year's Festival with many village organisations putting dates in their diaries. The original idea of the Festival remains ... something for everyone .. and a great way to promote all the societies and groups within our village. The 2008 music festival saw the day start in steamy monsoon conditions with around 300 people dancing with umbrellas in the rain up the main street behind the wonderful Samba band, the sun then blazed for the rest of the day and shone down on around 3000 people watching 10 hours of amazing bands ... the whole day rounded up yet again with a superb firework display. Just a taste of previous atmosphere ... but great memories for all who attended & this year promises some equally great treats!! (read less)
