Happy cinco de mayo!
We have added the following "unofficial" events to provide '04s (and friends) additional opportunities to hang out with one another -- as these are "unofficial", they are unfortunately *not* subsidized...
* Fri, Jun 5, 11:00p. Class of 2004 Pub Crawl. To continue our libations well. Current thoughts are to hop/crawl from Tavern in the Square back to campus and end the evening at the new Thirsty Ear.
* Sat, Jun 6, 9:30p. Night on the Town. We'll grab cabs from dinner to various clubs, bars, lounges, etc. -- a little something for everyone. If you have any suggested venues, feel free to drop a line to Patrick Kim and Christine Ortiz.

* Fri, Jun 5, 7:00p. '04 Pub Night @ Tavern in the Square. $10/person.
* Sat, Jun 6, 6:30p. '04 Dinner. $30/person. Italian food, great company, mmm.

Oh, look, it's a new year! Happy (belated) New Year! Okay, so first, thanks to everyone who filled out our survey. The committee took your responses into consideration when planning our class events (e.g., no events that require formal wear), and we hope the weekend will provide an opportunity for all of us to reconnect. More info will follow in early March (registration begins mid-March).
If you want some general Tech Reunions info, feel free to check out http://alum.mit.edu/reunions. Also, hotels in the area generally do reach capacity, so please try to reserve your rooms ASAP. You can find some information on accommodations at http://alum.mit.edu/reunions/accommodations. Dorm rooms are another option that will become available in mid-March.

Stay tuned for a survey about the 5th Year Reunion. You should receive a notice today. Responses will be due by this Friday (December 12, 2008), so please be sure to send in your responses ASAP!

As an FYI, the official MIT class reunions (unlike the Pi Reunion) are hosted during the Tech Reunions weekend. A preliminary schedule of Tech Reunions events can be found at:

(your Infinite Connections credentials should not be required to view the schedule).
Basically, the major Thursday event is "Tech Night at the Pops" (8:00p), which will be preceded by a Buffet Dinner (5:00p); pricing is currently unknown, but we'll keep you posted!
Friday and Saturday will offer a few "official" Tech Reunions and Class events to help you connect and reconnect, but there will be plenty of personal time for you to wander around campus, Boston, and Cambridge.
Sunday will close with the Class Connections Farewell Brunch (10:00a); but clearly, you're welcome to stick around as long as you want and continue exploring and catching up.
