RENCONTRE D’INFORMATION : Une invitation de participer à la résolution des problèmes des résident(-e)s, au Centre culturel Mile End , Salon Vert et Salle Main (Main Hall) .
Chers résidents du Mile End,
Vu les plaintes des résidents ayant trait au bruit venant du Centre culturel Mile End (CCME) en juin de cette année, le CCME tient à inviter les résident(-e)s du quartier à une rencontre d’information le mardi 13 novembre à 19h.
Venez nombreux(-ses) à cette rencontre pour résoudre les problèmes des résidents ayant trait au CCME. Nous avons travaillé très fort cet été pour améliorer l’isolation acoustique de l’immeuble grâce à des rénovations et des essais sonores approfondis. Suite aux recommendations de la Ville de Montréal et d’entrepreneurs en génie acoustique, le CCME a fait faire les rénovations recommendées, ainsi que des essais en suivi et des consultations. Nous nous sentons engagés envers notre communauté et aimerions tenir une consultation publique pour présenter nos activités et nos résultats. Cette rencontre aura lieu au Salle MAIN (5390, bd. St-Laurent).
Notre entreprise a investi dans les carrières de nouveaux artistes, offrant un espace communautaire accessible et notre expertise en production pour mettre en valeur de nouvelles oeuvres d’art, de musique, de danse, de film, et de multimédia. Nous aimerions faire appel à l’expertise et à la débrouillardise des résident(-e)s pour nous garder au courant des développements et nous aider à rester une influence positive dans la communauté. Nous aimerions aussi entendre les voix de techniciens(-nes) et des artistes qui ont contribué à la Salle verte et au MAIN HALL, et ceux et celles qui ont pu profité de ses installations de production.
Veuillez venir contribuer à un nouvelle façon de gérer un problème au Mile End! Nous voulons connaître vos idées et vos suggestions pour pouvoir nous harmoniser et croître avec les résident(-e)s. Nous voulons continuer à produire des évenements pour les Montréalais(-es) dans une petite salle (capacité de 120 à 200) , où l’on peut voir de nouveaux artistes dans un contexte intime.
Nous nous engageons à trouver une démarche acceptable pour servir le résdent(-e)s du quartier. Aidez-nous à faire revivre notre salle, pour enrichir notre ville et aider le artistes du Plateau Mont-Royal.

INFORMATION MEETING: Invitation to participate in the resolving of resident-related issues at Mile End Cultural Centre , Green Room and Main Hall.
Dear Mile End Residents,
In light of resident complaints regarding noise emanating from the Mile End Cultural Center (MECC) in June of this year, the MECC would like to invite neighbourhood residents to an information meeting Tuesday, November 13th at 7.pm.
Your presence is kindly requested to participate in the resolving of resident-related issues involving the Mile End Cultural Centre. We have worked hard over the summer months to improve the sound insulation of the building through renovations and extensive sound testing. Following recommendations from the City of Montreal and acoustic engineer contractors, the MECC has renovated accordingly and has done follow-up testing and consultations. We are committed to the community and would like to hold a public consultation during which we will present our activities and findings. The meeting will take place at the Main Hall (5390 St Laurent Blvd).
Our company invests in the careers of emerging artists, providing accessible community space and production expertise to showcase new works of art, music, dance, film, and multimedia. We would like to call on residents’ expertise and resourcefulness to help us stay informed and a positive influence in the community. We would also like to hear from the technicians and artists who have helped to establish the Green Room and Main Hall, and those who have taken advantage of the production facilities.
Please come and contribute to a new way of regulating a problem in the Mile-End! We want to know your suggestions and ideas to help us grow in harmony with residents. We wish to continue producing events for Montrealers in a small venue (capacity 120 to 200) where emerging artists can be intimately seen and heard.
We are dedicated to finding an operational process that works to serve the residents of the district. Help us revive our venue to enrich Montreal and to nurture the artists of the Plateau Montreal.
