UP THE BRACKET – SCABERCROMBIE SPECIAL!!!!

We’re housesitting at the Abercrombie!!!!

Saturday 31st January is our turn to make mischief, love and music at the holy, sticky and iconic Abercrombie – which is, in many ways, the spiritual home of us Up the Bracket kids.

We’ve got a typically rad line up: 16 TACOS, ERECTRO, MUSH & SEABAS will melt your face with their mad skillz, unhooking bras and charming the pants off the masses with illogically satisfying sets. There’s $3 Champers and $10 Jugs of Cooper before 11pm!!!

We’ll be playing the same crazy mix of everyfuckinthing – punk funk crunk rock soul pop grime, maybe the odd cheeky medieval jig or EVEN some hectic wartime singsongs around the pianola. ONE JUST NEVER KNOWS, DOES ONE?!!!!

December sees Up the Bracket returning to Scary Canary to one-up last months astounding house party extravaganza with the sexiest, oddest, funnest mix of music this side of sexy-odd-fun-musicville. Our Christmas special will include yuletide sets by G-WIZ, 16 TACOS and VIRGO, as well as resident party/shape throwers SEABAS, ERECTRO & MUSH decking halls with boughs of holly. Or, hauling decks with Buddy Holly. Or even Holly Valance. Possibly both. There’ll be fake snow! A spesh xmas lucky dip!! It’s all happening Dec 20th, kicks off at 8, $3 spirits between 8-9 and free hugs all night.

UP THE BRACKET is the new night with the most schizo music policy known to man – Bob Dylan smashed into Santogold smashed into Marilyn Manson smashed into Beyonce. Smashed into your ears. Smashed into your heart. Aww. Sat 15th Nov is the Launch Night, featuring live performances by Dem Topatop Girls to get the room jumping, DJ sets by the charmingly wicked BAD WIVES (the unstoppable collaborative force of Vivienne Kingswood & Sarah Crane), the wickedly charming 16 Tacos and residents Seabas, Mush & Erectro.
