The Schola Cantorum was founded in 2005 for the purpose of reintroducing early sacred music in the liturgical context of campus ministry at WVU. A subsidiary of the Lutheran Campus Ministry at WVU, the Schola has sung a complete Lenten mass, an Advent vespers, an Advent lessons & carols, and three Passiontide complines as well as provided various propers and ordinaries for liturgies in the Chapel of Christ the King.

News:
The schedule has been set for the Schola's "Latin Complines for Advent." There will be two. The first frist will be Sunday, Decemeber 6. The second will be Sunday, December 13. Both will begin at 8:00 PM and will be held in the Chapel of the Christ the King (a.k.a. Lutheran Campus Chapel at WVU). Prior to each compline, a crash course in Gregorian Chant for novices will be held beginning at 7:00 PM.

The Lutheran Campus Chapel is located at the corner of Hough, Willey, and Uiversity. The street address is 1479 University Avenue. University parking lots are open to the general public for parking on Sunday evenings.

Following the complines, there will be light refreshment.
