Robert Randall, currently the Chair of the Victoria Downtown Residents' Association has announced his intention to run for a seat on Victoria's City Council. The election will be held November 15, 2008.

Robert was elected Chair of the DRA in 2006. Prior to that he served on the DRA Land Use Committee. In addition to his work on the DRA, he serves on various committees including the Clean and Safe Standing Committee of the Greater Victoria Commission to End Homelessness and VIHA/AVI’s Needle Exchange Advisory Committee. Robert previously served a term on the City of Victoria's Downtown Advisory Committee.

Away from City Hall, he is the Secretary on the Strata Council of his condo building, the Mosaic on Fort Street. Robert also served as President of the Victoria College of Art Alumni Association.
