The UCLA Graduate Students Association has partnered with the South Central Farmers Cooperative to bring Community Supported Agriculture to Weyburn Terrace.

Community Supported Agriculture is a way for the public to create a relationship with a farm and to receive a weekly basket of produce. A basket is 11" x 17" x 10", so some members may want to share their basket with others. Produce from the South Central Farm is local, sustainable, and organic.

By making a financial commitment to a farm, people become "members" of the CSA. The South Central Farm allows weekly, monthly, and semiannual payment. The farm must decide how much seed to purchase ahead of time and how much to plant, so longer term commitments help to bolster the financial stability of the Cooperative as well as the livelihoods of the local farmers.
