Bill Gates Interview
Filed under: GVN
This month, Bill Gates, Microsoft co-founder and leading philanthropist, suggested GVN as a first port of call for young people who are wanting to make a difference in the world. Mr Gates said “I’d love to see more young people taking action to help the poor and disadvantaged - whether that’s in your own backyard or anywhere in the world. If you decide to choose public service as a career, that’s phenomenal - but you can also make a big difference by volunteering… Two places to get started are Network for Good and Global Volunteer Network.”

================================

Last week I posted the following message on Twitter “Sometimes we need to be reminded about the importance of what we do and why we must press on...” Based on the feedback I received from people it really hit home.

Have you ever noticed that it is not until you stop and look back that you notice how far you have come? We are all are at different stages on life’s journey. The important thing is to realize where you are at and have a plan that will take you to where you want to go. My dream is to see millions of people creating ripples of difference in the lives of others. Maybe it’s time to put your toe in the water?

If you would like to be encouraged from time to time then you can follow me on twitter at: http://twitter.com/colinsalisbury or Facebook at: http://www.facebook.com/colin.salisbury
