Projects in 2009

1. Caring Leader Initiative (CLI)
http://www.fbook.me/TYPN-CLI
CLI is a monthly activity that aims to engage young professionals to participate in social services in order to cultivate socially responsible mindset and create social-oriented atmosphere among the future leaders of our country; our activities vary from an inspirational talk by successful Thai social entrepreneurs to a visit to the slum community in Bangkok.
2. Green School (GS)
http://www.fbook.me/TYPN-GreenSchool
We are going to adopt the Naraesuan Houy Pueng School in Hua Hin as our pilot school in order to integrate the environmental aspect of living and learning into the classroom and student life at school, hoping to establish a prototype of ecological friendly curriculum and cultivate the environmentally conscious mindset to the young generation.
3. Entrepreneurial Incubator (EI)
http://www.fbook.me/TYPN-EIP
We believe that entrepreneurial skills and mindset could be a crucial element to make a difference in people life, opening doors to opportunity for a better living of their own. Hence we aim to share our knowledge, connection and expertise in business and entrepreneurship to bridge the knowledge gap between us and the less fortunate Thai population in order to develop grass-root business and social entrepreneurs.
4. Underprivileged Empowerment (UE)
http://www.fbook.me/TYPN-UE
Underprivileged Empowerment (UE) is our pilot and continuing project partnering with the Goodwill Group Foundation. Our pilot project, English for Career Development, was started in late 2008 and completed in June 2009.
In 2009, we plan to initiate training courses that equip our target group with necessary skill and knowledge to expand their career option and/or further develop their current career path. In addition, we plan to provide special inspiring/counseling sessions for the women to realize their potential to live the life of their own.
