24th October - BANG hosted a major event at the 2009 White Night festival. 42 purpose made animations created by BANG members were projected onto the Brighton Unitarian Church on the theme of the future.

3rd-4th October - BANG screened short films made by its members at the Phoenix Arts Gallery Open Exhibition.
Monday 20th July 2009 - Jayne Kirkham gave us a great workshop on pre-production for animation - how to develop our characters & storylines &ways to spark new ideas.
Wednesday 3rd June - We did a bit of speed networking & showed off our work.
Saturday 18th April - Life drawing for animators half day workshop with local artist Jake Spicer.
Monday 6th April - pub meet at the Earth & Stars.
Monday 9th March - A Night On The Red Carpet. Screenings of BAFTA & Oscar nominated animated short films, plus Alan Smith (of acclaimed directing duo Smith & Foulkes) & lead animator Reece Millidge came to talk about the Oscar nominated short film "This Way Up", as well as their other commercial projects & how they evolved from storyboards, concept artwork & animatics through to the final animated piece.
Tuesday 9th December 2008 - BANG/Flash Brighton Christmas Big Screen Bonanza at The Sallis Benney Theatre. We had an amazing turn out - it was the biggest & best film night we've ever had! With RichMitch's amazing selection of animated short films, Jo's YouTube competition & a talk from special guest David from Pesky, free santa hats, glow sticks & mince pies!
Thursday 13th November 2008 - At our new venue The Western Front. We had a show & tell evening & saw some great work from other BANG members, and then had a chat about the BANG collaborative project.
Tuesday 8th July 2008 - Another Flash Brighton/BANG collaboration evening full of animated film screenings, chaos with glow sticks & YouTube clips. Special thanks to guest speaker Bob Swain who gave us a sneak preview of his latest animated feature film!
Wednesday 7th May 2008 - thanks to Glyn & Mary Edwards who came along to talk to the BANG lot about puppetry and Punch & Judy, and also how puppetry is directly linked to our own animation work. If you would like to find out more about Glyn & Mary's work, head here - http://www.punch-and-judy.com/
Wednesday 5th March 2008 - Brighton-based illustrator and comic artist Nelson Evergreen (Neil) held a character design workshop. We all scribbled a Scots man on the top of our heads (!) and developed Octopus Barbie & a horned-Cyclops 11 year old!
Tuesday 11th December 2007 - Flash Brighton & BANG joined together for the Festive Film Carnival o' Fun! Hosted at the Lighthouse Digital Lounge - we had festive animations and YouTube clips galore! And Brighton's brilliant & quirky animator Cyriak came along to talk about his work.
November 2007 - Thanks to everyone who attended the Digital Festival events and to those who submitted their work to be shown at the Animation Night as part of the BANG/HANG showcase. We got some brilliant feedback!
5th September 2007 - thanks to Anil Mistry, creative director at Jetix, for showing us some of the amazing work he has produced for television & talking to us all about how to promote our work.
29th July 2007 - Paper BANG - thank you to everyone from BANG who submitted their animation work & to Paper Bag for organising the event. It was a brilliant evening!
4th July 2007 - thanks to John Davison for giving us a brilliant and informative talk about his work as a successful animator.
