- I couldnt believe it when I read it with my own eyes.... I just thought it was a joke when my friends had posted a couple of bulletins. But then I went to disney.com and it was all confirmed. They want to close all 6 clubs at Pleasure Island. Pleasure Island is the NIGHT KINGDOM of Disney.... A way for adults to escape and have a good time.
For this being the first group out on facebook to help and attempt to stop disney from closing the clubs.....

- By September 28, 2008, all of the nightclubs on Pleasure Island will close. It will be last call for the last time at 8 Trax, The Adventurer's Club, Mannequins™ Dance Palace, BET Sound-Stage™ Club, Motion and The Comedy Warehouse.
WHAT IS GOING TO BE REPLACING PLEASURE ISLAND...........
Downtown Disney® will feature an entirely re-imagined Pleasure Island. Based on Guest feedback, the nightclubs will be replaced by an extraordinary mix of dining and shoppingto be announced in the futurethat will entertain Guests of all ages.

In roughly 12 hrs the group has tripled in size over night! Totally amazing and just goes to show that people truly care about PI! Keep on passing the word along to everyone! It doesnt hurt to try and maybe something can be done!
