- The Cape and Islands Brown Club had several successful programs in 2007-2008 including a presentation by President Ruth Simmons and a reception and sendoff party for the Cape and Islands students headed for Brown University in the fall. The scholarship was awarded to Patrick Temple from Sturgis Charter School.
