The American Humanist Association is running a $40,000 ad campaign during the Advent/Christmas season in an attempt to convince society there is no reason to believe in God. These ads are posted on the DC/Metro area buses. They read, “Why believe in god? Just be good for goodness’ sake.”
Our mission is to counteract the AHA's ads with positive, upbeat ads that identify God as our true and loving creator. A campaign that promotes the truth of natural law: that God, a loving God who created us, writes the knowledge of right and wrong – what is "good" – in each of our hearts.
Please join us and promote that the reason for being good runs much deeper than "goodness' sake." Currently, our goal is to run a counter ad campaign to the AHA. This would include: 10 posters on the side of ten buses, ten posters on the back of 10 buses, and 200 ads inside 200 metro buses.
We are looking for donations of any amount, which can easily be contributed through the web site. The Center for Family Development has agreed to be our partner in this endeavor enabling this to happen. All of your donation will go directly for the purchase of these ads.
After reading about the AHA’s ad campaign, one friend said to another, “let’s do something!” And so “we” are just like you. Friends and friends of friends who heard about the ad and want to “reply!”
The Center for Family Development has assisted us to receive donations via PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=1369570), or, you can send a check (http://www.ibelievetoo.org/help.htm#donation). While you are at it, you can pick up a bumper-sticker, too (http://www.cafepress.com/ibelievetoo.333835777). All of your kind donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you for joining us!
