Just a quick note however, it would be nice if this group could focus more on Sarah Palin's astounding lack of foreign policy knowledge, experience, and her fundemental lack of any profound intellect or morally and logically coherant ideology, as opposed to any family matters which may or may not impact on her capacity to lead. There is no need for us to rely on smearing her family for us to point out how hopeless a vp candidate she is - and as Barack Obama pointed out - he was the son of a single mom and look how he turned out. In short - argue substantively against her and not superficially

Update: 100,000 - Well done guys - but we are not done yet - The Fans of Sarah Palin number 300,000. That's right 300,000 people who deem her fit to be in the White House. Let's make sure rationality (and not creationism) prevails - add your friends, spread the word, keep adding great articles, videos and links and let's keep up the enthusiasm all the way to November 4!

Update: 175,000 - we are still building at a rapid rate guys - well done. I'm going to expect a flock of people to join after the debate tonight, as no doubt Gov. Palin will show the same poise and grace she demonstrated in her interview with Katie Couric. I'd just like to welcome any conservatives that have now joined our group in the wake of the Couric interviews - it is always great to see bipartisan consensus.

Enjoy the debate tonite everyone I will be watching with a large bowl of popcorn, waiting for the inevitable Russia question, and Palin's inevitable screw-up.

Election Day

Finally after nearly 2 years on the campaign trail, we have arrived at November 4 and (whatever happens) a substantial change from 8 failed years of Bush Administration.

But the choice is monumentally clear in many respects, and this group has focused on one important reason why all voters should unequivocally suport the Obama/Biden ticket.

The selection of a running mate is one of the most important and most telling decisions a Presidental nominee has to make. On the one hand, Barack Obama selected Joe Biden, a respected figure on both sides of politics, one with considerable international experience, depth of knowledge and having displayed the leadership qualities necessary to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

On the other hand John McCain selected Sarah Palin a thoroughly underqualified and unexperienced candidate. Furthermore, through the course of the campaign as we have seen and learned more about Sarah Palin she has revealed herself as lacking the intelligence required to hold such high national office, and having a wholly radical and extremist ideology perverse to the interests and needs of ordinary Americans and citizens of the world. If she ever assumed the presidency is not a bridge too far to say that she would threaten the very fabric of American society and the fate of the world.

So, I urge all registered voters who are members of this group - please vote for Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Vote for the change America needs; seize this seminal moment in American history and play your part in righting the path that America is taking as it marches into the 21st century.

Thank you for your participation in this group and lets hope that this group becomes redundant after today and that Sarah Palin is never viewed a viable candidate for national office (in fact any office) ever again.
