- NOOR (Native Operators On Right) the group was created on the 13th of Nov 2008, @ around 21.00hrs.
21.11.08 - Due to Home Minister denying us our right to gather peacefully for a musical gathering at Our public park, led to an impromptu musical lorry round calling for a better Home Minister who Understands the constitution.
27.02.09- NOOR attend Human Rights Asia Forum
05.03.09-NOOR met with the visiting UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of Expression.
April 09 - NOOR blog officially online
7.04.09- NOOR started rally for awareness on pedophilia, and signing of petition to be sent to Majlis
11.04.09 -Rally Ended after noor activists received threats to not come to that area. It was planned to end on 13.04.09. Petition signing still continues at different locations.
20.04.09- NOOR hand in petition to the peoples majlis, raising concerns for new proposed bill on child protection & crimes against children.
20.06.09 - NOOR participated and coordinated the effort of the Rally 'Kudhinnah Kuraa Aniyaa Huttaa!', rally against child abuse and activity to pressure Parliament and Government to combat child abuse and create appropriate legislation.
