Moving Momentum is a non-profit advocacy organization - dedicated to aggregating champions for socio-economic, equality, and educational opportunities for Americans living on the fringes of society.
Moving Momentum was founded by Jim Neal, runner up to now-US Senator Kay Hagan in the 2008 NC Democratic primary. He drove over 30,000 miles across the state in seven months listening to all sorts of voices. On the eve of his defeat he commented "there's simply too much work to be done for people who can't do it for themselves for anyone to pack up and go home."
As the second gay person in history to run for the US Senate Jim inspired young people across America that no matter who and what they are- they can make a difference. "Never allow conventional wisdom to stand between you and your ambitions and dreams" he said at a recent speaking engagement before an auditorium of college students.
