God will condemn the nation that glorifies sin, even as he condemned those who sacrificed their children to idols of wood or gold or clay or the modern god Convenience:
Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
(Proverbs 14:34)
Nineveh repented of its evil, and God spared that generation and their city from destruction. Let us pray that our country, and its new leader would repent of their evil words and actions and that repentance (a turning away) from evil deeds would take place!
Pray that God would move in Obama's heart to promote a culture of life, genuine compassion for "the least of these," and a biblical understanding of marriage and the value that God places on the family.

The Bible says faith without works is dead. Obama talks much about his faith, but his works and beliefs contradict those of the scriptures.
If you do not agree with the aim of this group (to pray for the salvation of Barack Obama, and his repentence from unfruitful works of darkness), I respect your right to do so. The goal of this group is prayers, not numbers. So if you disagree with it, then please leave and form your own group and let those of us who desire to do so pray for the spiritual well being of our next commander-in-chief.
