Hope everyone has been transitioning smoothly back into class,YorkNotHostage was a challenging and amazing experience, and we owe many thanks to many people.

Thank-you to everyone who joined us and supported us during the strike. A special thanks to everyone who came out to our events, posted on or group, and an even bigger thanks to everyone who remains unnamed and worked with us behind the scenes to make this group such a success. It was truly rewarding to see such a diverse group of students from different backgrounds, age groups, programs, faculties, and colleges unite for a common goal.

The strike is over, and for all intents and purposes, so is YorkNotHostage. But we hope that our legacy will live on. With no budget, no organization and little experience, we grew to become a powerful voice for York students and helped to end the strike. We hope that everyone involved in the York strike will remember the power that a united group of students can have!
