- Hello and welcome to the Voodoo group.
I hope you manage to stick with me and read all my gossip as I have loads to tell you.
First on the agenda is apologies, I am sorry for not writing as often as I would like but its busy times at the moment, also I am sorry for turning normal innocent people into club crazed house addicts, but unfortunately this is a pitfall of club land!
Voodoo has been busy touring around the globe this year, hitting Canada, USA, and Poland. Not to mention closer to home London, Birmingham, and our birth place Reading.
A couple of gigs definitely need a mention, the Birthday was amazing, biggest crowd for over a year and the Voodoo originals Oldershaw, Schmitz and Parker absolutely blew mango into Orbit and showed the class act they really are. Supporting on this night was John Grace and Harper, both are easing there was into the premier league of DJ’s so where ever they are make sure you are waiting for them to bring the noise.
THAT clubs In Bed with Space promotion is growing and growing, when talking to THAT’S owner’s they laugh and say what recession. With there friendly pricing and amazing club the place goes from strength to strength, and I am proud to say Voodoo gets asked to play Bi-Monthly and more recently monthly. We have smashed both the sublime outdoor terrace and now, we have been promoted into the main arena, where in July the club had its record attendance.
Recent Voodoo signings include Will Bayle, Olly Lang, Jo Mills, Escobar and Vito, Stupid fresh, Trisco and Silky we are always striving to bring new sounds to where ever we play and one of our feature signing for later in the year include the enigmatic Ken Fan.
