Above 160 is run by Dj Ben Skinner, a fine man who is dedicated to his Hardcore. After a little persuasion to the rest of the Summit team, Ben finally got the go ahead! Lets face it Hardcore will never die and it brings quality following of raver with their awesome vibe. Ben got the name “Summit Above 160” because of the BPM (beats per minute). As Hardcore is one of the fastest music around, we are guaranteed to provide you beats over 160 per minute.
In Feb`08 Summit launched the new brand at Hidden in the red room alongside the Hard Dance arena and the Funky room. Massive DJ’s hosting the night from the legend that is Hixxy, the mighty Brisk and freeform’s favourite K-Complex. Not only does Summit Above 160 supply some of the best Hardcore DJ’s in the world, Summit also likes to give you a taster of the fresh talent out there who are guaranteed to put on a great night. Supporting Summit Above 160 on the mic are the legends Spenno, Lyrical-Groover, DHD and lots more.
Summit is making a name for itself as being one of the friendliest crowds that you will meet out there. That's mainly because of you ravers but also because it's run by clubbers and DJ's who care more about having a stonking party than anything else.
