HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

If you have any creative ideas on how to raise money for the boathouse please send them to Andovercrew@andovercrew.net.

Yippie!!
A new boathouse for Andover Crew on the Merrimack has been included in the list of projects for the next phase of development at Phillips Academy. At a dinner on November 5th, Oscar Tang announced a Campaign for Andover, Building on the Surest Foundation. The campaign calls for raising funds to support our need-blind admission, our talented faculty, program initiatives, and campus renewal. Our new boathouse is one of 8 projects listed under campus renewal. To learn more go to http://www.andover.edu/campaign/pages/default.aspx.
For some time now a dedicated team led by the facilities group at Andover has been working on preparing this project. Inclusion of our project in this new campaign illustrates the now enthusiastic support from the school's leadership for the Andover Crew program. As part of the campaign we hope to raise about $5 million for the new boathouse. Imagine a warm dry room for our teams on race day, real bathrooms at the boathouse and a safe place to leave your bags while you are on the water. Please do your best to support this worthy campaign. Tell all your family and friends about the new boathouse. You can donate to the campaign online, just remember on the donation page "designation" to select "other" and type in BOATHOUSE!!

As we all move from school to college and from college to whatever comes after college our email addresses morph several times. Andover crew tries to keep an up-to-date email list for everyone. If you have recently morphed from being a HS student to college or on to grad school or work please send your latest email address to andovercrew@andovercrew.net and you will receive regular updates on the crew program and the new boathouse.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Go Blue!!

This coming week will be the last week of fall crew. The students know by now if crew is the worst hell they have ever experienced or the passion of their lives. For the passionate ones...only 18 weeks until we crack the ice on the Merrimack.
