News:
Gongratulations UMD! We won America's Greenest Campus!

October 24th is the International Day of Action!
Also, October is Fair Trade Month!

URGENT: Now you can recycle ALL plastics (no, this does not include your microwave)! All food containers must be washed and bottle caps must be removed and recycled separately. No more worrying about numbers. As for those pesky plastic bags (when you forget your re-usable one), go ahead and recycle them too!

Please check out the calendar for other related events! Also, view our website for videos of past Speakers (http://sustainability.umd.edu/index.php?p=news_events_sss_sp09)!
