Banks in the US and UK have received large amounts of state funded support donated by taxpayers as a result of the economic downturn and are awarding themselves bonuses despite dreadful performances. Banks today are worth a fraction of what they used to be and should be prudent with our money. We say no to irresponsible greedy bank bonuses.

We're campaigning in this group for commercial change and social justice in this group. Banks have to start considering who their real stakeholders are. Its not their investors, who bay for profits at our expense, it's us, the general public, that's been driven into the ground through unmanageable levels of debt and layoffs.

There's much denial above the severity of this as a social issue - please see the posted items section for recent news stories - and social disgust is brewing. Our Government needs to open the doors to a new social order that puts justice before the prejudiced preferences of a few and that plays fair.

We exist here to create a collective voice on behalf of of all of us who've been impoverished and pissed off by this systemic failure and by the broken promises made by both the government and the banks to protect our financial security.
