playing, promoting and writing about very good electronic dance music meandering through styles, moods, feelings, based around the idea of minimalism.
In the past we've welcomed along a diverse selection of guests that include
Lump, Niederflur, Marc Ashken, Swayzak, dub KULT, Zentex, Art Bleek, Matt Star, Dani Siciliano, Portable / Bodycode... and lots more... we've supported headliners like Gaiser, Exercise One, Misc., Adam Beyer, Phil Keiren, etc.
We're not interested in what is 'minimal' and what isn't, or what the latest craze may be. Minimal is the attitude we take.
We are interested in the art, discovering new sounds and styles, digging out and dusting off old gems, putting a microphone to the sky and making grooves.
Inspired by art and design, travel, mother nature, science and technology, rabbit holes, war, socialism, spirituality and star wars, jazz, and keeping an open mind no matter what.
We dig:
Archipel. Haknam. Yuki Yaki. Thinner.cc. Multi Vitamins. Uzuri. Accidental. Planet E. Music Man. Cargo. Clever. Wolf+Lamb. Trenton. Sound Signature. Telegraph. Quintessentials. Yore. Third Ear. Running Back. Dial. Igloo. op.disc. Fenou. Mo's Ferry. I-Records. Rush Hour. Compost. Nite Grooves. LesIzmo:r. Peace Frog ...

We hate (strong word I know), creatively dead dance music that is labeled as 'minimal'. We hate people playing illegally downloaded mp3's sourced from other DJs charts. We hate club nights that employ DJs because they bring along a crowd, rather than an exciting box of records. We hate the way that a lot of clubs in London are only interested in making a quick buck, and take no responsibility for the quality of the nights they host. We hate record shops closing.
