This is the group for the AVKO Educational Research Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to eradicating problems associated with illiteracy and dyslexia through the promotion of common sense and low-cost methods and materials.

This group is for you if:
- you are dyslexic, or know someone who is.
- you (or someone you know) is smart but just can't seem to learn how to spell well.
- you are trying to learn English as a second language
- you know someone who could be helped by our free and low-cost resources.
- you want to have a conversation and network with others interested in teaching LD, ESL, special ed, homeschooling, or the language arts in general.
- you are passionate about helping others.

AVKO sells low-cost materials for dyslexics, homeschoolers, and other educators for teaching the language arts (reading, spelling, handwriting) and keyboarding.
