Since 2007, Brown TBGALA has launched several local chapters, including New York City and San Francisco. Two chapters, in Washington DC and Atlanta, are in formation.
Mission Statement:
The purpose of Brown TBGALA is to provide LGBT Brown alumni/ae with a social and professional network to support and enrich their life pursuits; to reconnect them with Brown University; to marshal alumni/ae experiences to serve the intellectual, cultural and social well-being of students; to offer role models for the Brown community; and to inform the educational practices of Brown University.
Membership: All Brown Alumni who identify as Transgendered, Bisexual, Lesbian or Gay, or who support the goals of this organization, are eligible to join TBGALA.
