======= DemoCamp ======
DemoCamp was originally derived from BarCamp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BarCamp), an international network of unconferences.
Calgary's DemoCamp is an extension of this concept, but spanning multiple industries ranging from science to art and how they relate to technology.
The point is to do demos that inspire multiple disciplines to unite and offer an opportunity for individuals and groups to engage the community.
Although the spirit of BarCamp is entrepreneurial, DemoCamp Calgary welcomes both profit and non-profit concepts in the technological arena.
Demos can range from defined innovative concepts/designs to refined (versions of) products and services.
There are two rules for DemoCamp presenters:
* Rule #1: No PowerPoint allowed.
* Rule #2: Demos are not a second over allocated time (10 minutes max). Followed by Q&A for 3-4 minutes max.
Demos will be uploaded to Google Video after each meeting. We usually will have a social gathering afterwards at the University of Calgary student pub nearby.
